Do I need special plumbing or a water line?
No permanent plumbing is required for standard installation. Fill the tub using a garden hose and drain it through the built-in drain valve. Custom direct-drain configurations are available upon request and require planning and installation by a qualified plumber.
How often do I need to change the water and the filter?
Replace the filter every 3–4 weeks or as needed, depending on usage and water quality. With sanitizer (recommended), change the water monthly. Without sanitizer (not recommended), change it every two weeks. Adjust water changes as needed. Clean the tub with clean water and a soft microfiber cloth. Avoid soap and abrasive cleaning materials. Follow the user guide.

I bought a brain pod at the end of 2023. It’s shows up and within the first 2 weeks the chiller starts acting up. I called customer service and after sending it to Florida for almost $300 they determined that the chiller was bad and they sent me a “new one”. Which in my option was refurbished because it had many signs it wasn’t new.
The “new chiller” lasted 9 months and started having problems in the same way. Sent it back to Florida for another $300 and they said it was broken beyond repair.
I love cold plunging and wanted a replacement. Told the polar monkeys sales person about all the trouble I had with the first 2 they sent me, and not one time did he have any sympathy for the money or the time that was wasted, but quickly quoted me a new commercial chiller for $7500!!!!!
Upon further research and having a bad bad feeling about Polar monkeys and feeling like they don’t care about their customers I found a way way way better commercial chiller/ pump set up, for 1/3 of the price and actually talked to the owner on the phone who answered all my questions. ( RevX Wellness) unfortunately I can’t endorse or recommend any polar monkeys products or their customer service.

I installed my system in my home gym. I LOVE the system but unfortunately have a cracked fitting that is causing a slow leak. My installer has contacted Polar Monkey to resolve it. As soon as that is fixed I am hoping to use it every day!
