What does initial installation look like?
Installation is a quick plug-and-play process, typically taking under 20 minutes. Each side requires its own independent standard 110V, 15-amp outlet. Water access is needed for the initial fill only, and no continuous connection required. Both sides operate as closed-loop systems with independent filtration. Drain access is recommended for maintenance, but not required. Set your temperature. Your session starts immediately.
What kind of maintenance does the Contrast Edition require?
Maintenance is simple and consistent with our single-system units. Filtration runs automatically, cycling every 5 minutes. Filters should be replaced every 3–4 weeks depending on usage frequency, with water testing weekly or bi-weekly. Each side operates independently, so maintenance on one does not affect the other.
How much does the Contrast Edition cost and when is it available?
The Contrast Edition is available to ship by the end of May in limited quantities. Pricing starts at $28,880. Each system includes two independent ChillX units, our best-selling accessories, a 2-year warranty, and white glove delivery. Financing through Affirm is available for qualified buyers. Enhanced finish options and additional accessories are available to customize the system to your home design. Does the Contrast Edition include steps or entry assistance?
Yes. The Contrast Edition features a dual-orientation design: one vertical barrel and one horizontal tub. The vertical barrel includes a movable exterior staircase and an integrated interior seat for supported entry. The horizontal tub is accessible without additional steps. Both sides are designed to make entry and exit easy and stable.
How do I control the temperature in each side?
Each side is controlled independently by the physical control panel buttons on the ChillX unit or the Polar Monkeys app. Set different temperatures for each side, or run both the same depending on your session. The app allows you to adjust temperatures, set timers, and manage sessions in real time.
